Alex Patrakov was born and raised in Western Siberia. In 1977 he graduated from the Kemerovo State University with the degree in the English Language and Foreign Literature and went on learning the Patent Law within 4 next years to become a Patent Attorney. Moved to Moscow to enter the Academy of International Trade and started working at V/O «Vneshtorg». Prior to moving to Canada in 1997, Alex had been a local Representative in the ex-USSR countries representing a Canadian company from Ontario. He has been with SPRUNG INSTANT STRUCTURES (Est.1887) for more than 17 years and now Alex is a Vice-president responsible for the Eurasian Operations.
